Do Black Lives Matter ? The Difficulty of being Black - Imoh David lays down his thoughts, author of " The ultimate curse on mankind"
In my short stay in this world, I've observed being Black is the most difficult thing a human can be.
If you're black and you're African, your government will be corrupt, and so every other messed up thing follows order. If you were black in early centuries, you may end up being a slave driven with horse whip to work your ass out.
If you manage to be freed a slave, you will be a "free" man who still needs a state permission to have certain licences or do certain businesses and to even use certain government properties like school, parks, etc. Or have certain civil rights like voting, contesting, etc.
If you talk, they say you're an angry black man, if you act responsibly like Obama, they'll say you are weak, and if by mistake you hold a gun and be angry, well, sorry for you, R.I.P. But even at that, just being an ordinary citizen is not enough, you might be finished up by many things including wearing a hoodie and walking back home. Being Black, you're already judged and condemned before being heard. And when heard, it barely carries good lyrics.
No other person understands what it means to be black except the black. And so, never argue with the pains of a black man, nobody has seen it like him. You have never been black in a particular environment, event and time for a second, it will be wrong to assume you know their experiences.
Let's learn to live peacefully like humans. Don't interfere in the pains of a crying person by insisting they deserve not to cry for it is a double wrong against the bereaved.
